What file types are supported?
EDI Paisan supports HIPAA X12 837P (Professional Claims), 837I (Institutional Claims), 835 (Remittance Advice), 270 (Eligibility Inquiry), and 271 (Eligibility Response) files up to 100MB.
What can I do with 270/271 eligibility files?
EDI Paisan parses both 270 (Eligibility Inquiry) and 271 (Eligibility Response) files. View the complete hierarchical structure including information source, receiver, subscriber, and dependent levels. Preview eligibility reports showing coverage status, copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket maximums. Upgrade to Pro to print or export these reports.
Can I try Pro features before upgrading?
Yes. With the Free version, you can split files and preview the results. You can even generate 837P files from a flat file. Pro or Enterprise is required to download these files to your computer.
How does 837P generation work?
Upload a pipe-delimited flat file with your claim data (100+ supported fields), and EDI Paisan generates valid HIPAA X12 837P files. Service lines are automatically grouped by patient, service date, and place of service. We provide sample files to help you format your data correctly.
When will Enterprise be available?
